All the stewards' rulings from the weekend's racing in Ipswich.

Stewards Summary Update #3: FINAL issued Sunday 24 July 2016 at 1815hrs.

Matters from Race 17:

The Stewards imposed a PLP on Car #22, James Courtney, for a driving infringement (causing contact with Car #17, Scott Pye, at Turn 3 on Lap 2).

After a Stewards’ Hearing in relation to a charge brought against Cameron Waters Car #6 for a breach of the Driver Code Conduct for causing contact Car #15 Rick Kelly at Turn 6, the Stewards imposed the penalty of Loss of 10 Championship points.

Matters from Qualifying – Race 17:

Following an investigation and admission of Careless Driving (blocking) by Car #18, Kurt Kostecki, the Stewards imposed the penalty of the loss of 2 Grid Spots on Car #18, Kurt Kostecki, for Race 17.

Stewards Summary Update #2: issued Sunday 24 July 2016 at 1045hrs.

Matters from Race 16:

The Stewards imposed a redress on Car #12, Fabian Coulthard, for a driving infringement (causing contact on Car #23, Michael Caruso, at Turn 5).

Post-race the IO conducted an investigation into an incident involving Car #33, Scott McLaughlin, and Car #7, Todd Kelly, and found that the matter did not warrant being referred to the Stewards.

Following post-race scrutiny and an admission by Lucas Dumbrell Investments Pty Ltd of a breach of Supplementary Regulation 3.2.1 (minimum weight for front bumper bar) in relation to Car #222, the Stewards imposed the penalty of exclusion on Car #222 from Race 16.

Matters from Qualifying – Race 16:

The IO conducted an investigation into an incident involving Car #19, Will Davison, and Car #21, Tim Blanchard, and found that the matter did not warrant being referred to the Stewards.

Matters from Practice – Part 3:

There were no issues.

Other Matters:

The Stewards imposed a fine of $500 on Tekno Autosports and Will Davison for failing to attend the Competitor and Driver briefing.

After a Stewards’ Hearing in relation to a charge brought against Erebus Motorsport V8 Trust Pty Ltd for a breach of Supplementary Regulation 6.1 (Promotional Schedule) (failing to participate in the transporter parade due to issues with their prime mover), the Stewards imposed the penalty of a fine of $5000, wholly suspended until 31 December 2016.

Matters from Practice – Part 1:

Following an investigation and an admission of a breach of Rule D12.7.3 (Use of Tools/Equipment) by Prodrive Racing (Australia) Pty Ltd (failing to remove blowers from Car #6 before exiting Pit Lane), the Stewards imposed the penalty of a fine of $2000 on Prodrive Racing (Australia) Pty Ltd.

Matters from Practice – Additional Drivers:

There were no issues.
