Jack Perkins returns to the Dunlop Super2 Series in time for valuable laps ahead of the 2024 enduro season.
A Supercars veteran with wins in all three of the championship's tiers to his name, the 37-year-old has an established reputation as a top endurance co-driver among 'main game' teams.
His return to Super2 comes with Blanchard Racing Team, for whom he will be a co-driver at this year's Sandown 500 and Repco Bathurst 1000 with James Courtney.
Perkins continues a long family tradition in motorsport, following in the footsteps of his Round Australia trial-winning grandfather Eddie and six-time Bathurst 1000 winner and renowned car-preparing father Larry.
He started his career in go-karts and Formula Ford before debuting in Super2 in 2006, and has had several full-time seasons in both the second and top-tier championship in the years since.
Diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in 2006, Perkins has become a high-profile advocate for awareness of the condition, along with highlighting technicalogical advancements that aid in its management.
In addition to his efforts behind the wheel, Perkins has in recent years resurrected father Larry's Perkins Engineering operation to maintain, assist and restore race cars originally built by the squad.
