Hidden Valley was the scene of breakthrough round wins for two of Stone Brothers Racing’s young stars.
In 1999, Jason Bright benefitted from engine trouble for Russell Ingall in Race 3 to win the race and the round overall.
With Bathurst not yet a points scoring event when he won the previous year, the Hidden Valley victory was Bright's first championship round win and marked Ford's first round triumph in over 12 months.
Two years later it was Marcos Ambrose scoring a maiden round win at Hidden Valley aboard SBR’s Pirtek Falcon – taking weekend honours with a consistent run through the three races.
Flashback to these two milestone moments above as part of our video series celebrating 20 years of Supercars racing in the Northern Territory.
