Off track entertainment for October’s Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 have been confirmed, with seven of Australia’s best live acts to perform over three nights within the track precinct, thanks to a new strategic partnership between Mushroom Group and Supercars.
The Presets, Client Liaison, Illy, Havana Brown, Mashd N Kutcher, John Course and DJ Total Eclipse will all light up the stage within the race precinct from 27-29 October, as world-class entertainment returns for Queensland’s biggest annual sporting event.
After bursting onto Australian charts, the The Presets have received international praise for hits such as My People, Are You the One? and Talk Like That, which led to seven ARIA Awards, an APRA Award and a UK Music Video Award.
The electric duo has just begun a national tour to commemorate 20 years of success and will headline the Friday night performance, supported by John Course, a leading DJ and figure in Australian dance music for nearly two decades.
Course said: “I’m very excited to be playing on the Gold Coast with Supercars and be part of a huge weekend of motor sport, music and amazing entertainment.”
Aussie Indie Pop duo Client Liaison will take to the stage on Saturday night, following performances by Mashd N Kutcher and DJ Total Eclipse.
Client Liaison is one of Australia’s favourite party bands with three ARIA Music Award nominations and nearly 200-thousand monthly listeners on Spotify. Their dynamic performance will be a memorable edition at this year’s event.
Brisbane’s Mashd N Kutcher has become one of the must-see live acts in Australia and Asia with their exhilarating performances that feature DJs and live instrumentalists that in 2022 won an APRA Award for being the Most Performed Dance/Electronic Work in Australasia.
Starting the party on Saturday night will be Brisbane-based world-champion turntablist DJ Total Eclipse who has toured with some of the world’s biggest stars including Eminem and Jay-Z.
ARIA Music Award winner Illy will round out the event with a stunning performance once the racing finishes on Sunday, 29th October.
Illy is an Australian rapper that has two ARIAs and three APRA Awards to his name including Best Urban Album and Best Australian Live Act. His work has reached #1 on the ARIA charts and singles like Papercuts have peaked at #2 on the national singles charts.
His performance will be the second and final act of Sunday night, that will kick off with a high-energy set by Aussie DJ Havana Brown who has toured with international pop sensations including Britney Spears, Rihanna, the Pussycat Dolls, Chris Brown, Enrique Iglesias, Pitbull and Bruno Mars.
She reached global stardom when a remix of her original We Run the Night featuring American rapper Pitbull reached #1 on the US Hot Dance Club Songs Chart and #26 on the US Billboard Hot 100 Chart.
Brown said: “Gold Coast is one of my favourite cities and I can't wait to be performing at the Boost Mobile Supercars."
All acts performing at the 2023 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 are booked by Mushroom Group, famously founded in 1972 by the late great Michael Gudinski.
Michael’s son and current Mushroom Group CEO Matt Gudinski said: "We’re thrilled with our new strategic partnership with Supercars and their commitment to delivering exceptional live music experiences at their events.

“The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 is an opportunity to showcase the best of Supercars to a global audience and we are thrilled to have once again some of Australia’s best live acts on stage as part of this year’s event.
“As the biggest annual sporting event in Queensland, we are committed to making it the ultimate celebration, ensuring it remains the highlight of the year for fans who travel from all corners to experience the magic of Surfers Paradise.
“The Club 500 stage will come alive with seven major acts over all three nights of the event, and we can’t wait to get back to our famous Gold Coast street track in October to get the party started.”
