As 2025 gets underway, Supercars.com is ranking the top 25 drivers of the last 25 years, continuing with Broc Feeney, who comes in as our #24.

The first of our current-day stars on this list, Broc Feeney is the epitome of the young gun generation that has burst onto the scene this decade.

Having risen through the ranks as a Super3 champion, Feeney arrived on the Supercars scene as a fresh-faced 18-year-old partnering James Courtney at the 2020 Bathurst 1000.

12 months later Feeney was crowned Super2 champion and named as the successor to Jamie Whincup at Triple Eight Race Engineering as the seven-time champion retired from full-time driving.

Having served his apprenticeship with the likes of Shane van Gisbergen and Whincup in his corner, Feeney has firmly established himself as one of the top drivers in the current field in short time.

In his young career, there are two victories that stand out head and shoulders above the rest in Feeney's CV.

Whilst his 2023 Sandown 500 win alongside predecessor Whincup was a sublime performance, it's his 2022 Adelaide 500 win that gets the nod here.

After a rookie season that showed glimpses of promise, Feeney found himself locked in a battle for the win with Chaz Mostert, who claimed a poignant win on Saturday for the Walkinshaw Group in Holden's last race weekend.

Despite only being at the end of his rookie season in Supercars, Feeney displayed a calmness and maturity that well exceeded his age, claiming a sensational maiden victory on one of the sport's biggest stages.

Why we picked him

Replacing the man who is the greatest driver in the history of Supercars is always going to be a tough task for any driver, let alone a teenager who is embarking on their first season as a full-time driver.

The Gold Coast product quickly proved that he was more than up to the task, being a regular top 10 presence in his first season in the championship.

The change from Gen2 to Gen3 saw Feeney firmly establish himself as one of the top drivers in the championship, claiming five race wins, including the Sandown 500, on his way to third in the points.

Feeney took another step forward in 2024, claiming six race wins, more than anyone else in the field, but lost out to teammate Will Brown in the title race.

At only 22 years old, Feeney has proven himself to be a more than worthy successor to the man who is now his Team Principal and enduro co-driver in Whincup, and has also proven himself worthy of a spot on this list.
