BJR leads tight group in Pit Stop Challenge

MSR surprise second ahead of Triple Eight
Brad Jones Racing is on track for another PIRTEK Pit Stop Challenge crown after the competition hit the halfway mark in 2024.
BJR, the four-time defending champions of the Pit Stop Challenge, has its two crews in first and fourth in the standings after the betr Darwin Triple Crown.
This year's challenge began in New Zealand, and continued in Perth and Darwin, where BJR left with a one-point lead over Matt Stone Racing.
The season has so far been affected by Safety Cars, with the New Zealand opener and Darwin finale both neutralised.
BJR's crew on the Macauley Jones and Jaxon Evans cars leads a tight group of cars, with MSR, Triple Eight, the second BJR crew, Penrite Racing and Blanchard Racing Team within seven points.
Triple Eight was the quickest crew in the Darwin opener, taking the points. PremiAir Nulon Racing set the pace in the finale, but a bp pulse Safety Car nullified the results.
Triple Eight opened this year's challenge with points in the Taupō finale, with the opener also featuring the Safety Car. Erebus Motorsport claimed the quickest time in the Perth opener, before BJR hit its straps with the quickest time in the finale.
The PIRTEK Pit Stop Challenge will continue at the NTI Townsville 500, before the regular competition concludes in Sydney and Tasmania.
