BP has announced they will field two drivers in the upcoming Cash Converters Supercars Eseries.

Castrol Racing’s Thomas Randle will line up for BP Ultimate Racing in the All Stars Eseries, while pro-gamer James Scott will contest the Pro Series.

The new hybrid format will see the All Stars, consisting of Supercars drivers, and the Pro Series competing weekly across six rounds from Wednesday August 25.

Both Randle and Scott will run the BP Ultimate Racing livery, inspired by the colour scheme currently seen on the BP Ultimate Safety Car in the Repco Supercars Championship.

Randle secured a top ten finish as a wildcard in last year’s All Stars Eseries, qualifying for the top ten shootout at Mount Panorama.

Currently competing as a wildcard entry in the Repco Supercars championship, the #55 Castrol Racing Mustang driver has been confirmed in a Tickford Racing a full-time drive for 2022.

“It’s fantastic to be involved in the Cash Converters Supers Eseries for 2021,” Randle said.

“I did one round of the series last year as a wildcard and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

“It’s such a great substitute for real racing, it’s what I use to train for the real thing and great to be a part of it and do the entire series with bp and Castrol.

“Doing all six rounds I’m going to need to be on my A-game, as a guy that owns as runs a simulator business, I’m going to need to really step it up.

“It’s going to be a tough competition; everyone is going to step it up a notch and has spent a lot more time on their simulators.

“I’m keen to step it up and bring all my e-talent to the Eseries.”

Scott returns to the series after winning the bp Race to Win competition last year, seeing the online racing talent join the final round as a BP Ultimate wildcard.

Securing a top ten finish in his debut race in the series, Scott has had past success in the V8 Supercars Online Premier Series.

“It’s great to pair up with bp again for the full series after representing them as a wildcard last year,” Scott said.

“It’s great to be involved so we can simulate a sport that we love.

“I’m looking forward to doing all six rounds, it is tough competition, but a lot of fun.

“Hopefully we can run up the front, snag a few podiums and a race win along the way.”

The Eseries will take place on the iRacing platform, running over six weekly rounds from August 25th to September 29th.

The Eseries will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 506, Kayo, 7Plus, as well as streamed on Supercars’ Twitch, Facebook and YouTube channels.
