The Supercars Gala Awards have seen Jamie Whincup officially handed his seventh Virgin Australia Supercars Championship crown.
The Red Bull Holden Racing Team star’s night also included the Driver’s Driver Award, voted by his peers for his on-track conduct throughout the season.
Other highlights from the night included David Reynolds’ winning the Barry Sheene Medal and Neil Crompton being inducted into the Hall of Fame.
