Cam Waters will again campaign the familiar black matte livery with Monster Energy backing in 2022.

Tickford Racing released images of Waters’ 2022 Ford Mustang ahead of pre-season testing on Tuesday.

The #6 Ford has retained its trademark black matte livery, which first debuted with Waters in 2017.

A similar base scheme was revealed on recruit Jake Kostecki's #56 Tradie Mustang revealed on Monday.

Waters will return for a seventh straight season aboard the #6 Monster Ford.

He was the highest placed Tickford driver in 2020 and 2021, notably finishing second overall in 2020.

Waters scored three race wins and four poles, both career best season hauls, in 2021.

He ended the year fifth overall and claimed a second Bathurst podium in a row.

In the weeks to next weekend’s Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight, Waters has been staying sharp at speedways around Victoria.

Last weekend, he recorded his second straight quick time and a maiden feature race podium.

However, he remained centred on Supercars success as Tickford chases its first title since 2015.

"I’m super keen to get back behind the wheel of the Monster Mustang," Waters said.

"Last season was a bit of a rollercoaster for us, we had a bunch of great highlights but also some things we need to improve on.

“So this year we’re really looking to put it all together and have a strong, consistent year.

"It’s crazy to think it’s my seventh season in Supercars, having driven the Monster Energy Ford for Tickford this whole time is pretty cool.

"We’ve come a long way but we have more boxes to tick, and we’ve been working hard in the background to put us in a position to achieve those goals this year.

"The Monster Energy Mustang looks as awesome as always, but it looks best at the front of the pack and that's where we aim to be starting next weekend."

Waters will turn his first laps of 2022 in the Monster Ford on Tuesday at Winton Motor Raceway.
