Brad Jones Racing has clinched its third straight PIRTEK Pitstop Challenge, defeating Shell V-Power Racing Team in Bathurst pit lane.

BJR, which won won the 2019 and 2020 competitions, takes home the $20,000 and Golden Rattle Gun Trophy.

In a rematch of the 2018 and 2020 deciders, BJR pipped the Dick Johnson Racing team crew to overall honours.

Earlier, BJR defeated Tickford Racing in the first semi-final, before the Shell squad beat Walkinshaw Andretti United.

BJR had taken home minor premiership honours in a canter, having accrued the most points across the nine sprint rounds in 2021.

It was a narrow victory in the final, but it was enough for the Albury-based team to claim overall honours.

"It's fantastic to win this three years in a row," Jones said.

"It's quite an honour; we've been in every final four.

"The guys work so hard... it's such a team effort."

BJR managed to secure a place in Saturday’s ARMOR ALL Top Ten Shootout courtesy of Nick Percat, who qualified ninth.

Supercars will return to the track on Saturday for Practice 5 at 10:15am AEDT. Click here to view the track schedule.

Every session of the event will be broadcast live on Foxtel (Fox Sports 503) and streamed on Kayo.

The Seven Network will provide live free to air coverage of the event. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
