Declan Fraser has helped Triple Eight complete a suite of major results in 2022.

Fraser secured the 2022 Dunlop Super2 Series title in Adelaide on Sunday.

The Queenslander swept the VALO Adelaide 500 to clinch the crown.

The Super2 title the final piece of the puzzle in what has proven a dominant year for Triple Eight.

Triple Eight has now become the first team to the Bathurst 1000, Supercars drivers’ and teams’ titles, and Super2 title in the same year.

"I don't usually get emotional," said Jess Dane, who heads up Triple Eight's Super2 programme.

"When you look at our results across all of Triple Eight Race Engineering this year, it looks like it's come easy, but it hasn't.

"So much work goes on behind the scenes, it's just unbelievable.

"All of these wins and championships this year, it's for the whole team."

Prior to Adelaide, Triple Eight had secured three of the crowns across the last two events.

Shane van Gisbergen took out the Repco Bathurst 1000 with Garth Tander, before clinching the drivers’ title on the Gold Coast.

A day later, Red Bull Ampol Racing sealed the teams’ championship.

Triple Eight also helped SunEnergy1 Racing win May’s LIQUI MOLY Bathurst 12 Hour.

The 22-year-old won all poles and races for the weekend.

Since the development series' inception in 2000, no team had won all four crowns.

Triple Eight won all titles bar the Bathurst 1000 in 2011 and 2021.

Triple Eight’s first development series came in 2011 courtesy of Andrew Thompson, with Broc Feeney winning last year.

Stone Brothers Racing won the Supercars and Super2 titles in 2003 thanks to Marcos Ambrose and a 22-year-old Mark Winterbottom.

The 2023 Dunlop Series will commence on the streets of Newcastle on March 10-12.
