Supercars fans were treated to a spectacle on the streets of Surfers Paradise on Wednesday ahead of this weekend’s Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500.

For the first time since 2019, the multi-million-dollar procession of team transporters took to the streets ahead of the twelfth round of the 2022 season. Tickets are on sale now.

A large turnout welcomed the 26-metre-long transporters as they made their way along Tedder Avenue into pit lane.

The Main Beach shopping and dining precinct transformed into a parade of tooting and waving as Supercars arrived in town.

Transporters arrived in two sets due to space restrictions and unloading times within the pits.

It marked the return of Supercars’ biggest party to Surfers streets for the first time in three years, featuring dual 250km races.
