Rick Kelly's Nissan Altima will hit the track at this weekend's Sydney.com SuperTest at Sydney Motorsport Park acknowledging a decade of Jack Daniel's involvement in V8 Supercars, with the number 15 machine paying tribute to the company's first foray into the category dating back to 2006.

The one-off livery kicks off a year of celebration for Jack Daniel's Racing, which entered the sport with Perkins Motorsport, represented by drivers Steven Richards and Paul Dumbrell.

"To represent Jack Daniel's once again in 2015 is a great honour, especially since as a team we are celebrating a decade in the sport, which is a major milestone for any sponsorship anywhere," said Rick Kelly.

From 2009, the Jack Daniel's backing moved to the start-up Kelly Racing organisation, which morphed into Nissan Motorsport from the start of the 2013 season.

For 2015, the company's efforts will be consolidated behind the single car of Rick Kelly, with the final livery to be launched prior to the Clipsal 500.

The major sponsorship is one of the longest running in the sport, with Jack Daniel's clicking over a total of 316 V8 Supercars races to the end of the 2014 season.

Throughout this time, Jack Daniel's has used the V8 Supercars platform to promote a responsible drinking message, with the "Pace Yourself, Drink Responsibly" phrase being widely promoted, including on the race car livery.

This commitment has extended to working closely with government bodies such as the South Australian MAC (Motor Accident Commission), primarily in the area of promoting safe driving initiatives.

This weekend's Sydney.com SuperTest at Sydney Motorsport Park is free for the general public on both days, with Sunday's schedule featuring a True Colour Track Walk and the SuperShootout, which will see the entire field race the clock over a single lap.
