Familiar colours will be carried by Macauley Jones for next weekend’s VALO Adelaide 500.

Jones’ #96 Commodore will sport TRG Transport backing for the second time in 2022.

The South Australian company was previously naming rights sponsor of the #96 at July’s OTR SuperSprint.

The Jones Commodore is predominantly red and black.

The car will also carry another South Aussie company on the bonnet in Southern Contracting Group.

Kubota, tools.com, Kubota, Automotive Superstore, DrillPro, Wet & Forget, Wagga Motors and Mastercam will also back the car.

Jones, Bryce Fullwood and Andre Heimgartner will vist the TRG headquarters next Tuesday.

“This coming week is going to be massive,” TRG Transport Managing Director Tony Musolino said.

"It’s not only the return of the 500 to Adelaide but South Aussies get to host the Supercars Grand Final. How good is that!

"We’re looking forward to an amazing week of motorsport and celebration and we just had to have TRG back on Macca’s car for it."

Team owner Brad Jones added: "To have two local companies on board for Adelaide I guess we could almost claim this as a home track race for us.

"So it’s very special to have them on board,” Jones said.

"Both Tony from TRG and Matt from SCG have become great supporters and friends of ours during the last couple of seasons.

“We’re hoping to have a really good weekend and round out 2022 on a high."

The 2022 Repco Supercars Championship will conclude on the Adelaide streets on December 1-4.
