Matt Stone Racing has confirmed Kurt Kostecki will race alongside younger brother Jake in December's Repco Bathurst 1000.

Kurt, 23, completed his wildcard campaign at last weekend's ARMOR ALL Sydney SuperNight for Walkinshaw Andretti United.

The Kosteckis join Davison brothers Will and Alex (#17 Shell V-Power Racing Team) as sibling pairings at this year's Great Race.

The older Kostecki completed laps in the #34 ZB Commodore in February at Queensland Raceway.

The 2019 Dunlop Super2 Series runner-up will drive the #34 UNIT-backed entry with younger brother Jake.

The younger Kostecki will make his last full-time appearance for MSR at Mount Panorama.

"I’m really looking forward to driving alongside Jake this year at the Bathurst 1000 and joining MSR for the Great Race," Kurt Kostecki said.

"Jake has had a relatively strong year in the UNIT Racing car and I’m looking forward to playing my part in finishing the year on a high with him.

"As everyone knows anything can happen at Bathurst so I’m really looking forward to putting the work in and seeing how we go."

Kurt made his Great Race debut in 2020 alongside WAU driver Bryce Fullwood.

The Western Australian driver impressed in his wildcard showings at Tailem Bend, Darwin and Sydney Motorsport Park.

He notably scored his best career finish of sixth in Race 12 in Darwin.

The 2021 Repco Supercars Championship will resume this weekend at the BP Ultimate Sydney SuperSprint.

Every session of the event will be broadcast live on Foxtel (Fox Sports 506) and streamed on Kayo.

The Seven Network will showcase highlights of the event.

Tickets for the event are on sale now.
