Triple Eight Race Engineering, TEKNO Autosports and DJR Team Penske hit the track today for the Queensland teams’ pre-season test day.
The crucial opportunity allows the teams a full day of running at Queensland Raceway ahead of the season opening Clipsal 500 early next month.
TEKNO’s Will Davison samples his Holden Commodore for the first time, while Fabian Coulthard and Shane van Gisbergen did squeeze in shakedowns over the past week to get comfortable in their new cars.
But all eyes will be on Craig Lowndes, who sat out his new car shakedown on Monday to focus on his recovery after breaking his collarbone over the summer.
V8supercars.com.au will bring you all the news as it happens, with updates throughout the day from Queensland Raceway.
