Seiko, one of the world’s leading brands in watchmaking, is returning with Supercars in 2022.
The Repco Supercars Championship is the leading motorsport category in Australasia, with events taking place across Australia and into New Zealand.
Supercars is renowned for exciting racing and competition, with millimetres and milliseconds often being the difference between victory and despair.
The 2022 season sees the continuation of the partnership between Seiko 5 Sports and the Repco Supercars Championship.
With it comes a new Limited Edition Seiko 5 Sports timepiece.
The bitumen black of the case and bracelet is retained, this time adorned with the eye-catching “Victory” gold.
The dial comes alive in the sun as the light dances off the gold but is just as adept in the low light thanks to the Lumibrite on the hands and hour markers.
The watch comes in a pillowed presentation box with a numbered certificate of authenticity and an additional wet racing tyre inspired rubber strap.
For the first time the iconic Supercars logo is featured on the crown in addition to the exhibition case back.
There are 2022 limited edition watches, all exclusively numbered on the caseback.
The on-sale date is April 1st or to pre-order visit https://seikoboutique.com.au/product/srpj01k.
The limited edition number (from 0001/2022 to 2022/2022) is also etched on the case back.
Seiko will also adorn Scott Pye's Team 18 Commodore at this weekend's Sydney event.
As part of the partnership, the Seiko 5 Watch Tower will be placed at pit lane exit at this weekend’s Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight.
