Next week’s Repco Bathurst 1000 will be Jamie Whincup’s final race as a full-time driver in the Repco Supercars Championship.

Whincup will hang up his helmet to transition to Triple Eight Race Engineering’s new Managing Director and Team Principal in 2022.

To mark the occasion, Red Bull Ampol Racing has launched the hashtag #CheersJDub.

In a post to its social media accounts on Monday, Red Bull Ampol Racing has encouraged fans to share their all-time favourite 'JDub moments'.

Supercars drivers and commentators were quick to respond to the call-out to share their fond memories of Whincup.

Red Bull Ampol Racing co-driver Garth Tander reminisced over their battle for the 2007 championship title.

Dunlop Super2 Series leader and Whincup's replacement in 2022, Broc Feeney, also shared his favourite memory.

Red Bull Racing, the energy drink's Formula One team, chimed in with a cheeky note to Whincup.

Bathurst 1000 co-driver and good friend Craig Lowndes recounted their emotional 2006 Bathurst win.

Walkinshaw Andretti United driver and 2014 Bathurst 1000 winner Chaz Mostert also lent his support to the call-out.

Erebus Motorsport rookie Will Brown took the opportunity to quip about his recent race win in Sydney.

Fox Sports host Jess Yates also lent her support to the retiring Red Bull Ampol Racing driver.

The 2021 Repco Supercars Championship and Dunlop Series seasons will conclude at the Repco Bathurst 1000.
