V8 Supercars looks to support local business in each region it visits, however this weekend's Tyrepower Tasmania SuperSprint is providing more local 'content' than ever before.

V8 Supercars' corporate hospitality offerings will be exclusively supplied by local Tasmanian winery Bay of Fires Wines, located on the Pipers River in the Tamar Valley region, north of Launceston.

Bay of Fires will supply several of its famous wines, including the Cuvee Rose, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir alongside the Eddystone Point Chardonnay and Pinot Noir for V8 Supercars' corporate guests to enjoy.

Additionally, the Eddystone Point Chardonnay and Pinot Noir will also be available for purchase from retail bars at the venue.

Taking advantage of Tasmania's unique cold climate, and rich, ancient soils, Bay of Fires creates its wines from small, high quality selections of fruit from across Tasmania's viticultural regions.

V8 Supercars General Manager - Corporate Hospitality Felicity White said it was fantastic to be able to support local Tasmanian business, and produce, at the weekend's Tyrepower Tasmania SuperSprint.

"In each region we travel to, we always look to work with local businesses, and support the local economy as best we can," White said.

"When in regions such as Tasmania, that are renowned for their food and wine, it makes perfect sense to form partnerships with local wineries and providores.

"We're very pleased to be able to offer our guests the exclusive range from Bay of Fires this weekend."

In addition to this wine supply arrangement from Bay of Fires Wines, V8 Supercars also employs a large selection of Tasmanian businesses including Tassie Instant Marquees, Weeding Hire, Salters Hire, Fridges to Go, The Big Fridge, Toyota Materials Handling Kings Meadows, Allalong Freight and Juicy Isle.
