Shane van Gisbergen and Mark Winterbottom have both aired their grievances with their qualifying near miss.
Winterbottom was hit with a three-place grid penalty for impeding in Race 11 qualifying.
Broc Feeney and van Gisbergen both avoided contact with Winterbottom into Turn 7.
Feeney was forced to take evasive action, with van Gisbergen catching Winterbottom into Turn 7.
Both Red Bull Ampol Commodores were unable to improve; van Gisbergen qualified 11th, and Feeney 12th.
"It’s pretty self-explanatory,” van Gisbergen said.
"It is what it is, it doesn’t get our spots back... they were pretty strict on it in briefing.
"Winterbottom was sitting in the middle of the road... it doesn't help us.
"We just have to position ourselves better... it's a shame."
Winterbottom qualified 22nd, and will start last for Sunday's first race.
"It's just shit, really," Winterbottom said.
"You're first gear trundling along... in the drivers briefing, they said go at Turn 6.
"You're first gear and you don't know who's coming.
"All of a sudden you're doing 40km'h, and they're 260km/h.
"I had no idea where they were; it's my mistake... I stuffed them over. It is what it is."
The 46-lap Race 11 will commence at 12:05pm local time.
