Chargers to mark racing milestone at Wanneroo

A variety of Chargers will be out in force in Perth to celebrate 50 years of racing at Wanneroo Raceway.

The Charger Club of WA will be a highlight feature of the off-track festivities at the Bunnings Trade Perth SuperNight.

The April 29-May 1 event will be the first Supercars round in Perth since 2019. Tickets are on sale now.

A variety of Chrysler products from the 'R' Series Valiants through to CM Chryslers, American Chargers and Challengers will be on display at the circuit.

The Charger Club of WA will see local members with a variety of Chargers, with at least 20 entries expected.

The popular local car club will then take to the track for a parade lap on Sunday.

The Bunnings Trade Perth SuperNight will feature three 46-lap Supercars races, with Saturday’s Race 10 to be held under lights.

A bumper support line-up will be headlined by the second round of the 2022 Dunlop Series.

V8 SuperUtes, Historic Touring Cars and Radical Cup will also race alongside Supercars.

Fans will also have the opportunity to meet with their favourite drivers in Perth.

The signing session will take place at Murray Street Mall from 12pm to 1pm on Friday April 29.

A second signing session will take place behind team garages at Wanneroo Raceway from 4:30pm to 5pm on Saturday April 30.

Bunnings Trade Perth SuperNight will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 506 and streamed on Kayo.

The Seven Network will broadcast highlights on Saturday and Sunday.
