Online racing ace Brady Meyers has won the inaugural Pizza Hut Pro Eseries Driver Search competition, scoring a call up for the upcoming Cash Converters Supercars Eseries.

The nationwide competition gave online racing talent the chance to drive for Pizza Hut Racing in all six rounds of the 2022 Pro Series Supercars Eseries.

The hybrid framework model will consist of two championships within the series: The Pro Series – with elite gamers representing Supercars teams and major brands, competing for a share of $26,000 in prize money.

Meyers topped the points to secure his seat in the Pizza Hut-backed Holden Commodore.

The 23-year-old will race in six weekly rounds beginning at Winton Motor Raceway on Wednesday July 20.

Meyers boasts more than 15 years of experience in iRacing, and stepped up to competition five years ago.

Meyers has competed in the Supercars Pro Series for the past three years, having won the inaugural draft in 2019.

SuperUte and Super2 ace Cameron Crick will also line up for Pizza Hut Racing in the All Stars Eseries.

Second-generation racer Crick made his Dunlop Super2 Series debut with Eggleston Motorsport this year.

He finished second overall in a tightly-fought 2021 SuperUte series, just 12 points behind eventual champion Ryal Harris.

“It’s fantastic to be representing Pizza Hut in the Cash Converters Supers Eseries for 2022,” Crick said.

“Pizza Hut a new sponsor of mine this year and are really active in the sport, so to represent them in the Eseries is very exciting.

“I’ve got my sim all setup, I was on it today for a bit, and over the next six weeks I’ll jump on it as much as I can.

“Sim Racing is so much harder than it looks and know some of the Supercars drivers are really good on the sim, so I’ll be putting in the work over the next six weeks for sure.

“I’m looking forward to racing at Winton this year, as it’s our home test track.

“We will race at Sandown and Bathurst this year, so the relevance sim racing has for us is really great.  I’m excited for the series.”

Pizza Hut Australia CEO Phil Reed said: “We are incredibly excited to be partnering with iconic Aussie brand Supercars for the Eseries in 2022.”

“The Eseries allows us to take our commitment and passion for motorsport further, sharing good times and the thrill of racing online at some of the most iconic Australian circuits.

Draft Race 3 Highlights: Oran Park

“We are passionate about driving, and have some fantastic drivers already in our stores, with opportunities opening up across our network for more to join our winning team.

“For the first time, we will have our very own Pizza Hut Race Team which will see the talented Supercars Super2 Driver, Cameron Crick, team up with our new Pro Gamer Driver, winner of the Pizza Hut Pro Eseries Driver Search, Brady Meyers.”

This year’s competition will take place on the iRacing platform, with six weekly rounds running on Wednesday nights from July 20 to August 24.

The Eseries will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 506, Kayo, 7Plus, as well as streamed on Supercars’ Twitch, Facebook and YouTube channels.
