GM ANZ has announced a two-year extension to its sponsorship with Triple Eight Race Engineering.
The deal will see GM ANZ's leading brands including ACDelco, GM Trade Parts and GMSV continue to adorn the Red Bull Ampol Racing cars in 2022.
The collaboration will continue into the Gen3 era, with GM homologation team Triple Eight charged with developing the all-new Gen3 Camaro Supercar.
Earlier this year, Red Bull committed to a further two years as co-naming rights partner of the team.
Triple Eight has been campaigning Commodores since 2010, and has been the factory team sine 2017.
Triple Eight has won six drivers' titles, eight teams' championships and five Bathursts in Commodores.
The team will undergo major changes in 2022; notably, Jamie Whincup will make way for teenage recruit Broc Feeney.
Whincup, who will lead Triple Eight as Managing Director and Team Principal in 2022, is the winningest driver for Holden in ATCC/Supercars history with 90 victories.
"It’s exciting to have GM ANZ on board as we enter this highly anticipated new era in the sport," said Roland Dane, current Managing Director of Triple Eight Race Engineering.
"The company has been a key supplier and sponsor to the team via ACDelco and of course Holden for the past 11 years, our mechanics value the little edge it gives us behind the scenes in our racing preparations."
Marc Ebolo, Managing Director of GM ANZ, added: "Holden has been a part of the motorsport landscape in Australia and New Zealand for over 70 years, and we’re proud to be continuing this legacy with this announcement.
"Our relationship with Triple Eight is a highly visible reminder to Supercars fans that there is ongoing support for Holden genuine parts and servicing."
Triple Eight will continue its march towards the 2021 titles at this weekend’s Bunnings Trade Sydney SuperNight.
Shane van Gisbergen leads Whincup by 276 points, with Red Bull Ampol Racing leading Shell V-Power Racing Team by 825 points.
Tickets for all four upcoming Sydney events are on sale now. All sessions will be broadcast live on Fox Sports and streamed via Kayo.
The Seven Network will broadcast live from 3:30pm AEDT on Saturday and 12:30pm AEDT on Sunday.
