FOX SPORTS and Foxtel will transform V8 Supercars television coverageforever with this week's season-opening event, the Clipsal 500 Adelaide.
For the first time in V8 Supercars history, fans will be able to watch everypractice, qualifying session and Championship Race LIVE in High Definitionon FOX SPORTS in 2015.
Fans will see a total of 40 hours of continuous LIVE coverage of the Clipsal500 race weekend, beginning with all practice and qualifying sessions forsupport categories from 9am AEDT on Thursday, February 26.
Coverage will capture all the big events throughout the weekend and willculminate with the final Clipsal 500 Championship Race at 3.20pm AEDT onSunday, March 1.
The exclusive FOX SPORTS team of Mark Skaife, Russell Ingall andJessica Yates will take over the broadcast between categories and pre-and-post race to analyse all of the on-track action on Supercars LIVE.
The trio will cross throughout the weekend to FOX SPORTS MotorsportInsider Chris Stubbs for all the latest breaking team and driver news, whileGreg Martin will capture all the colour of Adelaide's favourite festival ofracing from on and around the racetrack.
Among the new broadcast innovations that fans will experience for theClipsal 500 is a choice of four on-board camera angles which will beavailable via Foxtel's red button service. The interchangeable camera viewswill literally place viewers "under the visor" to experience what the driversare seeing in the heat of battle.
An additional camera mounted to the rooftop of race cars, known asHamburger Cam, will also be utilised throughout the broadcast.
FOX SPORTS will also debut its brand new Tech Centre, the new hub fortechnical information about the cars and teams, where six-time Bathurstwinner Mark Skaife will take fans "under the hood" to analyse all technicalaspects of racing.
Following the Clipsal 500 weekend on Tuesday, March 3, FOX SPORTS willpremiere its new V8 Supercars entertainment show Inside Supercars(7.30pm AEDT, FOX SPORTS 506).
Inside Supercars will provide an in-depth review of all of the Clipsal 500action, as well as previewing upcoming rounds of the series. The 60-minuteshow will be hosted by Greg Rust and Neil Crompton alongside MarkSkaife.
FOX SPORTS will also fire up its brand new digital Race Centre atFoxsports.com.au, which is the ultimate companion to the TV broadcastfeaturing LIVE race leaderboards, map tracking and LIVE video streams.
At the conclusion of Fridayat the Clipsal 500, FOX SPORTS News will present a dedicated V8 Supercars bulletin from trackside at 9pm EDT.
