Kai Allen is set to get an early taste of 2025, with the Super2 champion in line for his first laps in a Penrite Racing Ford Mustang Supercar.

The Super2 champion, who will vie for a second Dunlop Series crown next month in Adelaide, will replace new PremiAir Nulon Racing signing Richie Stanaway at the Grove squad next season.

Allen, 19, will line up alongside Matt Payne for the new season, forming the youngest combination on the grid, and one of the youngest in Supercars history.

The Mount Gambier-born driver spent the recent weekend at the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 in Penrite Racing colours, with Allen trackside with the team.

He will be on track with the team at Queensland Raceway on Tuesday, with a number of Supercars squads rolling out for a ride day at the Ipswich circuit.

Penrite Racing gave Stanaway laps at the corresponding ride day last year, just weeks after the New Zealander won the Great Race with Triple Eight Race Engineering.

Allen raced with Will Davison and the Shell V-Power Racing Team at the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 and Repco Bathurst 1000 before formally joining Penrite Racing in Surfers Paradise.

Tickford Racing, Team 18 and Blanchard Racing Team are also scheduled to complete rides at Queensland Raceway on Wednesday.

The teenager's Super2 teammate Cooper Murray will also join the main game in 2025, replacing champion Brodie Kostecki at Erebus Motorsport.

Murray was also trackside in Surfers Paradise, joining Erebus following his impressive wildcard enduro campaign with Triple Eight and Craig Lowndes.

Allen will fight for the Super2 title at the VAILO Adelaide 500 on November 14-17, trailing Walkinshaw Andretti United junior Zach Bates by 42 points.
