Five drivers on 100-plus race winless streaks heading into 2025
James Courtney winless since 2016 Adelaide 500, 260 starts ago
10 drivers on 2025 grid yet to win a Supercars race
There will be a whopping 14 race winners on the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship grid, and 12 of them have already won a race in the Gen3 era.
That leaves 10 drivers searching for their first Supercars race win, and there are some drivers long overdue for a maiden trip to victory lane.
The 2025 grid's 14 winners are led by Chaz Mostert (24 wins), Will Davison (22), Cam Waters and James Courtney (both 15). While Mostert, Waters and Davison have both won multiple races in the last three seasons, Courtney is chasing for win No. 16, with 15 coming in 2016.
Of drivers hunting victory No. 1, the likes of Thomas Randle, James Golding and Ryan Wood impressed in 2024, while gun rookies Kai Allen and Cooper Murray will go from strength to strength.
With 34 races and revolutionary formats, with different tyre compounds used for races on the same weekend, don't be surprised if new names can break through. We're putting our money where our mouth is, predicting there will be three new winners in 2025.
Some winless streaks were snapped in 2024, namely Nick Percat (118 races) and Andre Heimgartner (89). In 2023, the likes of Mark Winterbottom, Jack Le Brocq and David Reynolds also returned to victory lane.
Two-time Bathurst winner Davison's last victory came at Pukekohe in 2022, 59 races ago, while Le Brocq (35), Anton De Pasquale (34), Reynolds (26) and Richie Stanaway (22) are all winless since 2023.
Waters, Mostert, Percat, Heimgartner, Will Brown, Broc Feeney, Matt Payne and Brodie Kostecki all won last season, Feeney and Brown on the shortest streaks of all after winning in Adelaide.
Drivers will vie for three wins at Round 1 in Sydney on February 21-23. Tickets are on sale now.
