McLaughlin inducted into NZ MotorSport Wall of Fame
Three-time Supercars champion Scott McLaughlin has been named as one of two inductees into New Zealand Motorsport's Wall of Fame.
McLaughlin, who claimed three titles between 2018 and 2020, joined team owner Steve Horne as inductees in the annual MotorSport New Zealand Awards Evening on Saturday.
The 28-year-old won 56 races between 2013 and 2020, including the 2019 Bathurst 1000.
McLaughlin is Ford’s winningest driver with 48 victories, all coming with the Shell V-Power Racing Team.

He is now competing in his maiden IndyCar campaign with Team Penske, and has qualified 17th for next weekend’s Indianapolis 500.
He has already scored a podium, at Texas, and is eighth in the standings.
McLaughlin was inducted after Horne, who was recognised for his achievements in the United States.
Horne was team manager for Trusports and skippered two IndyCar titles and an Indianapolis 500 win, before he created the successful Tasman Motorsports Group.
"New Zealand is truly blessed with some incredible people in motorsport,” said Wayne Christie, President of MotorSport New Zealand.
"Not only are our drivers outstanding talents, but the people behind the scenes are highly sought after internationally.
"On behalf of everyone involved in motorsport in New Zealand, I want to congratulate Steve and Scott on being inducted into the wall of fame and thank them for their contributions to the sport."
