Chaz Mostert has used the break in the 2021 season to launch Mozzie RC, his new business venture.
The Walkinshaw Andretti United driver opened the doors to his indoor off-road remote control car racing club last month.
The indoor facility features a purpose-built remote-control car track, complete with jumps and carpeted flooring.
Located near Mostert’s Gold Coast base, Mozzie RC hosts fortnightly race meetings and practice sessions for members.
The Mozzie RC track is accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week for members of all ages wanting to hone their RC racing skills.
The venue hosted its first two-day race meeting earlier this month, with competitors across junior, stock, modified, and short truck categories.
Mostert claimed five trophies across five different events, including three wins and two second-place results.
The track offers live timing and a vending machine equipped with replacement tyres.
Aimed at encouraging young racers, families and enthusiasts to enjoy the sport, Mozzie RC holds race day BBQs, with plans to host major events and interclub series events in 2022.
Sharing the launch on his social accounts this week, the 29-year-old encouraged fans to come and try the family-friendly sport.
Mozzie RC will host its next major event on December 12.
Mostert will resume his 2021 Repco Supercars Championship campaign in Sydney later this month.
The WAU ace is currently fourth in the Supercars championship standings.
The 2021 Supercars field will return Sydney Motorsport Park on October 29 for the Bunnings Trade Sydney SuperNight.
Sydney Motorsport Park will host four straight events. Tickets for all events are on sale now.
