New look for Mason Kelly Ford for Perth round
#22 Mustang to carry ACL Race Series Bearing Company backing
Second-gen Kelly 14th in Super2 standings after Round 1
Mason Kelly will race a new-look Ford Mustang at the upcoming Dunlop Series round in Perth, celebrating a partner's major anniversary.
Second-generation racer Kelly, son of 2005 Bathurst winner Todd, will carry major backing from ACL Race Series Bearing Company at next weekend's Bosch Power Tools Perth SuperSprint.
ACL Race Series Bearing Company is marking its 75th anniversary, with the tweaked livery featuring gold and a new logo.
The company is a long-time supporter of Kelly Racing's motorsport programs and race engine projects, with ACL branding to be displayed on the sides of the #22 Ford.
Kelly campaigned SCHRAMM Group's purple colours at the Thrifty Bathurst 500, as did teammate Aaron Cameron.
Cameron finished the weekend second in the points, while Kelly recovered to 14th overall with finishes of 18th and 10th in the two races.
Track action at the Bosch Power Tools Perth SuperSprint will commence on Friday May 17. Tickets for the event are on sale now. International viewers can follow all the action on Superview.
