New sponsors sign on to support the 2021 Supercars Eseries

The popularity of the upcoming Supercars Eseries has brought with it a list of new and existing big-brand sponsorships renewals for 2021.

After announcing a new naming rights partner in Cash Converters last month, Supercars has confirmed several internationally recognised brands have signed on to be part of the six-week online racing series which begins on Wednesday night.

There are various levels of partnership from official team entries, new broadcast, and digital assets, as well as sponsors for pole position and the qualifying show which will air online.

This year’s online racing series will see Supercars drivers and pro-gamers pair up for a virtual endurance race at the spiritual home of racing in Australia, Mount Panorama on 22 September.

The six-round series is based on the popular iRacing platform and features a $26,500 prize pool for the Pro Gamer portion of the championship. $10,000 will be awarded to the series victor.

“It is a testament to the Eseries to have such strong brands wanting to be part of the program which in 2020 was watched by fans around the globe.

“This year’s Eseries is the perfect mix of Supercars’ drivers and pro-gamers which is sure to appeal to our traditional fans, while engaging new ones.”

For the first time, there will be two championships within the series.

The All Stars Series featuring Repco Supercars Championship and Dunlop Super2 drivers will race at five famous oval circuits including Charlotte, Pocono, Daytona, Michigan and Bristol, with one endurance event at Australia’s spiritual home of racing, Mount Panorama.

The Pro Series will race at Formula 1’s famous Red Bull Ring in Austria, IndyCar circuits Long Beach and Road America, Mount Panorama and a season-ending race at Victoria’s scenic Phillip Island circuit.

The Cash Converters Supercars Eseries will take place on the iRacing platform, running over six weekly rounds from August 25th to September 29th and will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 506, Kayo, 7Plus, and Supercars’ Twitch, Facebook and YouTube channels.

Supercars Hall of Fame inductee Neil Crompton will return to the Supercars broadcast panel to host the Eseries.

Regular Eseries commentators Chad Neylon and Johnathon Simon will call the qualifying sessions and races from Melbourne. Qualifying begins at 7pm AEST and will be broadcast live on Facebook, YouTube and Twitch.

The live 90-minute television coverage of races will begin at 7:30pm AEST and will be broadcast on Fox Sports, Kayo, 7Plus, Sky NZ, Facebook, YouTube and Twitch.
