The second Dunlop Series race was red-flagged, and later abandoned, following a Turn 1 accident on lap 7.
Super2 debutant Matt Payne and Angelo Mouzouris, along with Super3 runner Jim Pollicina, fired off following a Safety Car restart.
Payne's Grove Motorsport Altima sustained heavy front-on damage and dislodged the first tyre barrier.
Mouzouris also found the barrier, which due to its damage and dislodgement, led to the race suspension and later abandonment.
Zak Best led at the time of the suspension, having cleared pole man Broc Feeney after the race began behind the BP Ultimate Safety Car.
Best appeared to overtake Feeney on the line and quickly created a gap on the points leader, who was overtaken by Tyler Everingham.
The no-result ensured round honours went to MW Motorsport driver Everingham, who beat Feeney to the Saturday victory.
Feeney will take a 129-point lead over Best to the season finale in Bathurst.
Everingham cleared Feeney at Turn 2 and set off after Best, only for the Safety Car to be deployed following a series of incidents.
Mouzouris and Matt Chahda made contact on the run to Turn 2, with the latter spearing into an unsuspecting Jayden Ojeda.
Payne also sent Jordan Boys into a spin at the final corner before the first full course yellow, with Super3 driver Steven Page finding the Turn 1 barriers.
On the restart, Payne, Mouzouris and Pollicina hit trouble, with Josh Fife also going wide at the first corner.
The race was neutralised, red-flagged and later declared, with just seven of 18 scheduled laps completed.
The 2021 Dunlop Series will conclude at Mount Panorama for the Repco Bathurst 1000.
