Penrite Racing will roll with its Australian-themed livery into the Repco Supercars Pro Eseries starting tomorrow night.
The #999 Holden will be steered by Erebus Academy driver Jobe Stewart, with the 16-year-old donning the colours the team ran for its two Supercars at the recent Bathurst 1000.
“I’m pumped to be getting behind the wheel and representing the team,” Stewart said.
“The Australian livery looked great on track at Bathurst and it’s going to look just as good over the next six weeks.”
Penrite Oil director of motorsport Jarrod Harding added: “The Eseries is a great opportunity to continue our call to action and ensure Australians are supporting local.
“We experienced a great response from our recent push at Bathurst and we want to ensure Australians are doing their bit to support the local economy.
“We are a proud Australian company committed to investing in the future and supporting local jobs and families.
“We want to remind others to think about doing the same and make the right choices to aid in the recovery of our nation.”
The Pro Eseries field will tackle Belle Isle and Silverstone in tomorrow night’s season-opener.
