There were more than 20,000 votes cast in the various stages of the poll on Supercars’ Facebook page, with Phillip Island beating out Watkins Glen, Michigan Oval and finally Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.
It means drivers will return to the Australian track where the inaugural round and opening race of the BP Supercars All Stars Eseries took place.
On that occasion Scott McLaughlin claimed a win, while Jack Le Brocq was awarded victory in the reverse grid race after Anton De Pasquale received a post-race penalty.
Interlagos in São Paulo, Brazil, had already been confirmed as the other venue for Round 8 this evening.
In the first semi-final of the BP Fan Poll, Phillip Island got the nod over Watkins Glen by winning 66 per cent of the vote.
In the final up against Spa it was a much closer affair, with Phillip Island receiving 57 per cent of the vote.
Shane van Gisbergen, who finished sixth and seventh in the #97 Red Bull Holden at Phillip Island in Round 1, now leads the BP All Stars Eseries by 64 points with just three rounds to go.
Qualifying begins tonight at 6pm AEST and will be broadcast exclusively on Fox Sports 506 before racing begins at 7pm.
From 7pm, racing will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 506, Kayo, Sky Sports (NZ) and 10 Play, plus Supercars’ digital channels.
