Repco is promising huge celebrations across the 2022 Repco Supercars Championship season as the company enters its 100th year in Australia and New Zealand.

Repco’s 100th year will feature a season-long celebration. From humble beginnings starting in a Collingwood tin shed in 1922 and soon known as the ‘Replacement Parts Company’, Repco now has more than 400 stores across Australia and New Zealand.

Included is a remarkable tale of global domination when Repco powered Jack Brabham and Denny Hulme to Formula 1 World Drivers’ Championships in 1966 and 1967, including back-to-back Constructors’ titles thanks to the famous Repco-Brabham combination.

Entering its second year as the major partner of the Repco Supercars Championship, the Repco Bathurst 1000 as well as its ongoing partnership with Shell V-Power Racing, fans will be the winners, with Repco planning to commemorate its 100th birthday with even more competitions, giveaways and fan activities like never before, throughout 2022.

And to kick-start the year-long party, Repco is running a three-day in-store promotion ‘Spin to win,’ starting today (Friday), running in parallel with the Supercars season opening round at Sydney Motorsport Park this weekend.

Repco customers who spend $60 in one transaction in-store will be given the chance to ‘Spin to win’ and can go into the draw to win the ultimate Repco Bathurst 1000 experience for Australian customers or an ultimate experience at the ITM Auckland SuperSprint round for New Zealand customers.

On top of that, all eligible ‘Spin to Win’ customers will instantly win a prize in store.

For the Supercars fans at the race tracks during the year, Repco will continue to showcase its amazing offerings, including the Repco Garage – an elevated platform that will be the best place to watch all the racing, plus plenty of games, prizes and giveaways.

The mighty Repco C10, BMW E33 and other soon-to-be-revealed machines will be on show, plus money can’t buy experiences that only Repco can offer.

This is a huge year for Repco Australia and New Zealand, and it's a party that every Supercars fan is invited to.

“2022 has incredible significance for the Repco family as we celebrate our 100th anniversary. That is 100 years of innovation, enthusiasm and of course, a deep passion for, and history in motor racing,” said Mitch Wiley, Head of Sponsorship, Repco.

“From supplying parts for the original 48-215 FX Holden, through to our partnership with Sir Jack Brabham to build the engine for the world-conquering BT-19. This year, we will bring to life some of the amazing stories from the last century that have made us who we are today and continue to shape our love for all things automotive.

“We have a year long celebration planned, you’ll see plenty of Repco activity for the fans at races throughout the year, kicking off this weekend at Sydney Motorsport Park.”

“We can’t wait for this weekend, and to spend time with fans across Australia and New Zealand. We are pumped for the season, and of course to get back to Mount Panorama for this year’s instalment of the Repco Bathurst 1000. We have so many exciting initiatives planned, we can’t wait to celebrate with the fans.”
