Castrol Racing unveil 2025 livery ahead of Bathurst 12 Hour test
New look features increase in red accents and Tickford Engineering branding
Thomas Randle finished a career-best fifth in 2024 Repco Supercars Championship
Tickford Racing has become the second team to unveil a new look in the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship pre-season, with Thomas Randle's new look for the year unveiled.
Randle retains naming rights sponsorship from Castrol for the 2025 season, and enters his fourth full-time campaign in Supercars, and his fourth season driving Tickford's Castrol-backed #55 Ford Mustang.
Randle finished fifth in the 2024 standings after a surge in form at the end of the season which included two podiums at the Gold Coast and Adelaide, helping Tickford finish second in the Teams Championship.
Randle's livery was unveiled this morning at Mount Panorama, where teammate Cam Waters will drive the car in Supercars testing at the Bathurst 12 Hour alongside Team 18 recruit Anton De Pasquale in a Camaro.
Randle's 2025 scheme is an evolution of the livery used last season, and features an increased amount of red accents, whilst Tickford's new engineering firm also makes an appearance on the windscreen banner and rear quarter panels.
“It’s great to launch the 2025 Castrol Racing livery here at Mount Panorama,” Randle said. “The car looks awesome, and for me, it’s another step up from last year. I’m really excited to get it out on track and hit the ground running for the first round at Sydney Motorsport Park. “We had a really strong round in Sydney last year, taking a podium and had a Tickford front row lockout so we are keen to be racing there again under lights. “Mount Panorama is Australia’s most iconic track and given Castrol’s history of success at Bathurst, it’s the perfect place to launch the Castrol Racing campaign for 2025.”
Castrol Brand and Product Manager, Jan Willink, also welcomed the livery reveal, and is looking forward to seeing how Randle and Tickford progress in their second season as a two-car operation.
“Castrol is thrilled to continue its journey with Tom, Cam and the entire Tickford team into 2025 and beyond and we couldn’t be more excited about the year ahead,” Willink said. “With 2024 seeing both Tom and Cam finish the Championship in the top five – and second in the team’s championship – we’re confident Castrol and Tickford can unlock an even higher level of performance this year. “The #55 Castrol Racing Mustang looks phenomenal and the new livery brings a real edge to the car. It’s definitely one of the cleanest looking cars on the Supercars grid.”
Tickford's livery reveal for Waters' Monster Energy Mustang is scheduled for February 14.
The 2025 Repco Supercars Championship kicks off at the Sydney 500 from February 21-23. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
