Supercars has confirmed change to its board, with Dick Johnson Racing Team Principal Dr Ryan Story replacing Penrite Racing owner Stephen Grove.

In a statement released Wednesday, Grove has resigned from his role on the Supercars Board to dedicate more focus to his business and his team, Grove Racing.

Grove joined the board in 2022, the first year of his sole ownership of Penrite Racing.

At least two team representatives must be on the board as non-voting members, with Story joining Walkinshaw and Brad Jones.

Supercars can confirm that Stephen Grove has resigned from his role as a Supercars nominated team representative to the Supercars Board, stepping down to dedicate more focus to his business and his Grove Racing team.

Since his appointment in 2022, Stephen has brought invaluable insight and experience as a team representative, and his contributions have been greatly valued by Supercars.

Supercars Chairman Barclay Nettlefold said: “We extend our gratitude to Stephen Grove for his dedication and contribution to the Supercars Board over the past two years."

Brad Jones, Ryan Story and Ryan Walkinshaw will continue to act as team representatives to the Supercars Board. Under the Teams Racing Charter, Supercars must appoint at least two team representatives to attend board meetings as non-voting observers.
