The Dunlop Series finale at Mount Panorama has been cancelled due to inclement weather.

The 18-lap Race 2 was scheduled to launch at 4:00pm local time.

However, heavy rain arrived during the Toyota 86 race just prior.

The Toyota 86 race was red-flagged after a spectacular two-car crash at The Chase.

The crash ended with two separate incidents turning into one; Bradi Owen was already beached, but was hit by Alex Hadden.

Hadden began to roll, and came to rest on Owen's car.

Heavy standing water accrued following the race, with the later Porsche Carrera Cup race cancelled.

The ARMOR ALL Top Ten Shootout for the Repco Bathurst 1000 is scheduled to follow the Super2 race.

The Shootout is listed to commence at 5:05pm local time.

With the Race 2 cancellation, Zak Best takes round honours by virtue of his Friday victory.

It is Best's third round win in five events this season, and his second at Mount Panorama.

Tickford driver Best won a shortened race ahead of Tyler Everingham and Matt Payne.

Best slashed Declan Fraser's series lead to 75 points, with three more drivers mathematically in title contention.

Payne is third (132 points behind) ahead of Cameron Hill (165) and Everingham (175).

Everingham scored pole for Race 2 on Saturday morning.

The 2022 Super2 season will conclude at the VALO Adelaide 500 on December 1-4.
