The off-track entertainment lineup for the upcoming NTI Townsville 500 continues to fill up with world-class family entertainment, with Supercars today announcing the return of the popular Drone Show in Townsville, that will light up the sky above the Reid Park street circuit.

The drone show debuted last year and was hugely popular amongst fans, who could see hundreds of drones, in the formation of popular Supercars images during their performance.

The drones supplied this year by New Age Media Group will take to the skies above the circuit in between music acts that will perform on Saturday, 6 July.

“We really want to ensure our fans have a memorable experience on the night,” said Tim Watsford, Supercars Chief Operating Officer.

“The music acts, drone show and off-track entertainment, coupled with one of the best street circuits in Australia, make this year’s 15th running of the event one of the biggest we’ve ever put on in Townsville, we can’t wait to see the track precinct filled once again in July.”

The NTI Townsville 500 is the biggest annual sporting event in North Queensland and has become a staple on the Australian sporting calendar since it began in 2009.

Concert entry is free with any Saturday ticket and children of all ages are welcome to attend.
