Supercars livery launch season starts today
Walkinshaw Andretti United will get the ball rolling on a flurry of Supercars liveries to be revealed over the next 10 days, later today.
Only the Red Bull Holden Racing Team,
Between now and the pre-season test at Phillip Island on Thursday week, February 14, the bulk of the rest of the field will follow.
WAU is first cab off the rank with the Commodores of Scott Pye and James Courtney, and will unveil a replacement co-naming rights sponsor for Boost Mobile.
The team released a black-and-white teaser image, above, last week, while Courtney reverts to #22 as his racing number after using #25 in 2018 to mark the team's 25th year with Mobil backing.
Boost has moved to Garry Rogers Motorsport, which will keep its colours under wraps until the Superloop Adelaide 500 week, testing with an interim livery.
Fans will get a better look at the incoming Mustang Supercar on Tuesday, when Ford Australia launches the program at 12:00pm AEDT.
The Mustang was disguised in a camouflage livery for its late-2018 tests, but a bespoke Ford Performance scheme will help set the scene.

DJR Team Penske's Shell V-Power Racing entries will follow next Monday morning, February 11, in an event in Melbourne.
Liveries for the four Tickford-run Mustangs, including customer 23RedRacing, are expected to be released between Saturday and the test.

Mark Winterbottom's first IRWIN Racing Commodore will be revealed at 6:30pm AEDT this Thursday, having released a teaser of its own in January.
Erebus Motorsport is then taking to Federation Square in Melbourne on Sunday from 11am to showcase its Penrite Racing Commodores.
Brad Jones Racing is set to start introducing its three liveries later this week, while Tekno's scheme for Jack Le Brocq is also due before the test.
The rebranded Kelly Racing is, meanwhile, expected to complete its driver line-up alongside Rick Kelly and Simona De Silvestro.
Michael Caruso's exit was announced last week, and with incumbent Andre Heimgartner and Garry Jacobson the favourites for the other two Nissan Altimas.
The 2019 Virgin Australia Supercars Championship will be launched in Melbourne next Wednesday, February 13, followed by an all-in test at Phillip Island on the Thursday.
Fans are invited to attend the test, which has been at Sydney Motorsport Park in recent years, with admission free.
