Just days after tackling the Penrite Oil Sandown 500, Chaz Mostert and Broc Feeney will tackle world-famous circuits in GT3 machinery.

Mostert and Feeney, who are second and third in the Supercars standings, will race at different ends of the globe this weekend.

Their respective starts come ahead of next month’s Repco Bathurst 1000, with track action commencing on October 10.

Walkinshaw Andretti United star Mostert will again link up with Kenny Habul’s SunEnergy1 Mercedes-AMG team for the Battle of the Bricks at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

The Indy round, the penultimate round of both the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and Michelin Endurance Cup seasons, will be contested by 56 cars.

SunEnergy1 Racing, which won the 2022 and 2023 Bathurst 12 Hours, returns to the IMSA field for the first time since the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Mostert — who finished seventh at Sandown — joins fellow Aussies Habul and Jordan Love, older brother of Blanchard Racing Team Supercars rookie Aaron.

Two-time Bathurst 1000 winner Mostert has previous form with Habul’s team, taking a class victory at last year’s 24 Hours of Spa.

He is also competing in the local GT World Challenge Australia championship with Ferrari team Arise Racing, winning the first race of the season at Phillip Island.

Feeney — who was runner-up at Sandown — is off to Europe and the historic Monza circuit to compete in the three-hour GT World Challenge Europe race.

The Triple Eight star, who is no stranger to GT racing, will compete alongside Oman-born driver Al Faisal Al Zubair and Austrian Dominik Baumann.

Feeney was initially part of Triple Eight's plans to contest the the 24 Hours of Spa and the Indianapolis 8 Hour, which are part of Intercontinental GT Challenge.

Earlier this year, however, Feeney opted against being available for both races, which fell a week before Townsville and Bathurst.

Mostert and Feeney are 189 and 222 points respectively behind Supercars leader Will Brown heading to Bathurst on October 10-13.
