Grove Racing have announced today that Troy Bundy has been appointed as their new Chief Executive Officer.

Bundy comes to Grove Racing with more than 25 years of commercial experience, and has been a long-time figure in sports management, performing roles within Supercars, the NRL, and the AFL.

Bundy’s most recent role came as the head of One Make & GT Racing for Porsche in North America, including initiatives in the IMSA SportsCar Championship, GT World Challenge America, and Formula One.

Bundy has also acted as the Head of Motorsport for Porsche Cars Australia, being involved in the Porsche Junior Development program at a time when current Supercars full-timers Jaxon Evans and Cameron Hill came through the program.

The arrival of Bundy will see Brenton Grove shift from his role as CEO to become Executive Director of Grove Racing, also shifting his focus to the wider Grove Group as CEO.

Stephen Grove will remain the Executive Chairman of Grove Racing, whilst David Cauchi will continue as Team Principal.

Bundy says he is excited to join the team amid their upward trajectory since taking full ownership of the former Kelly Racing team in 2022.

“I am thrilled to join Grove Racing as CEO and to be part of such a talented team with a clear ambition to reach the pinnacle of the sport,” said Bundy

“Contributing to the growth and success of Grove Racing, and building on the strong foundation laid by Brenton and David, is incredibly exciting.

“I look forward to collaborating with the team to drive our vision forward and achieve great success both on and off the track.”

Stephen and Brenton Grove have both welcomed the news, and are confident that the acquisition of Bundy will be another key moment in Grove Racing’s rise to the top of Supercars.

“Troy's appointment marks a significant milestone for Grove Racing,’ said Stephen Grove.

“His extensive experience and impressive track record in the motorsport industry make him the ideal leader to guide our team into a new era.

“We are confident that, under the leadership of both Troy and David, Grove Racing will continue to thrive and achieve remarkable results.”

“Troy's appointment is a fantastic development for Grove Racing,” Brenton Grove added.

“His experience and background will enhance our efforts on the track, and I am excited to collaborate with him to achieve Grove Racing's strategic goals.

“With both Troy and David leading key areas of the business, the team is well-positioned to continue our progress and success in the sport.”

The arrival of Bundy will allow current Team Principal David Cauchi to focus more on the performance side of Grove Racing not only in Supercars, but also their expanding operations in other series.

With an expansion into GT World Challenge Australia, a planned expansion into Porsche Carrera Cup, and the arrival of reigning Super2 champion Kai Allen from 2025, Cauchi is excited for the future.

“I am excited to welcome Troy to the Grove Racing team,” said Cauchi.

“His extensive background and experience are a perfect complement to mine, and together, with our shared vision, we are well-positioned to drive the team forward and achieve our defined success.”
