Matt Chahda Motorsport's journey to Bathurst will be covered in an upcoming docuseries.

Chahda and rising star Brad Vaughan will race an ex-Triple Eight Chevrolet Camaro at the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 and Repco Bathurst 1000.

The Chahda/Vaughan Camaro will hit the track at Sandown on Friday, amid a rollercoaster ride for the privateer squad.

On the lookout for a title sponsor, the Chahda team recently purchased a Triple Eight Supercar, which won last year's Sandown 500.

The docuseries, titled Full Throttle Dreams, will be led by former Supercars Media and Network Ten motorsports reporter Kylie King.

“Some of the best motorsport stories aren’t always about being first to the chequered flag, but rather the hard slog, determination and challenges just to get there,” King said.

“Anyone who knows team owner Amin Chahda and his racing driver son Matt knows they don’t hold back on telling it like it is, even when the microphone and cameras are rolling.”

The Chahdas will make their second Bathurst start, following a solid debut in 2022.

Chahda and rookie Jaylyn Robotham ran a leased Walkinshaw Commodore to 18th in a chaotic race, with the weekend headlined by crashes and heavy rain.

Episode 1 of the docuseries captured the arrival of the Camaro to the team's Albruy workshop, before the squad set about preparing the car, testing and working towards the enduros.
