BJR 'bringing the heat’ with Wendy’s Taupō livery
Tweaked BJR Camaro livery revealed in Taupō
Supercars to hit the track from Friday with practice
Brad Jones Racing has revealed a tweaked look to the Wendy’s Chevrolet Camaro that will hit the track at the ITM Taupō Super 440.
Wendy’s has come onboard with BJR and Macauley Jones for a second season for Supercars’ annual New Zealand event, replacing Pizza Hut.
The 2025 Wendy’s Hamburgers NZ livery features fiery details across the #96 Camaro, along with the iconic Wendy's blue and red colours.
Wendy’s has been operating in New Zealand since 1988 and operates 21 outlets nationwide with more than 400 staff.
“The car looks sick. We’re bringing the heat. Wendy’s have taken it up another level and I’m stoked with it to be honest,” Jones said.
“We had a chance to visit some Wendy’s stores yesterday which was cool, we had a lot of fun with their team and it was a good insight into what they do in NZ. We obviously only have the one store in Australia, so it was a good opportunity.
“This should be a great weekend, NZ really turns it on for us. The fans are awesome, the track is great and then, of course the car looks good. I’m looking forward to it all.”
Wendy’s NZ CEO Danielle Lendich added: "This collaboration brings a striking new livery to the track.
"We are thrilled to make our mark at the Taupō Super 440 and deepen the brand’s motorsport ties in New Zealand.
"We look forward to cheering on Macauley’s #96 Wendy’s Camaro and sharing our passion with Supercars and Wendy’s fans.”
The new-look Camaro will hit the track on Friday for Practice 1 at 11:45am NZST/9:45am AEST.
