Supercars' newest winner Cameron Hill caps big week with wedding
MSR driver tied the knot just days after winning first Supercars race
Hill sits eighth in the championship heading to Round 3 in Taupō
Supercars' newest winner Cameron Hill has revealed he tied the knot just days after his breakthrough victory at Albert Park.
The Matt Stone Racing driver became the 87th driver in ATCC/Supercars Championship history when he took out Race 5 at Albert Park on March 14.
Hill led home teammate Nick Percat in a shock MSR one-two finish, with reigning champion Will Brown third.
The 28-year-old's drought-breaking came a day after Hill secured his first Supercars podium, finishing behind winner Broc Feeney and Brown in Race 4.
Just five days after he packed up in Melbourne third in the weekend points, Hill married partner Emily Milford in his hometown of Canberra.
Hill announced his engagement to Milford last September, just days after the Canberran brought home a top 10 finish in the Sandown 500 with Cameron Crick.
The wedding news comes just days after MSR confirmed Hill will be partnered by Cameron McLeod in this year's Enduro Cup races at The Bend and Bathurst.
McLeod, who won his first Super2 race in Sydney last month, impressed on debut with PremiAir Racing alongside Tim Slade last year.
Hill sits eighth in the drivers' standings heading to the next round in Taupō, with Percat 10th.
The 2025 Repco Supercars Championship will resume in New Zealand at the ITM Taupō Super 440 on April 11-13. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
