PremiAir Racing shows off 2025 Supercars, drag racer livery
Chevrolet Supercars, Peter Xiberras' dragster will carry matching liveries
James Golding, recruit Richie Stanaway will race in Sydney this weekend
PremiAir Racing has rounded out the 2025 livery launch season, with the Gold Coast-based team revealing its new 2025 look.
James Golding has been joined by 2023 Bathurst winner Richie Stanaway, who replaces the retired and Matt Stone Racing-bound Tim Slade.
The Golding and Stanaway Chevrolets will carry matching liveries, which will also run on team owner Peter Xiberras' Top Fuel Dragster.
The team's Supercars livery features prominent branding from PremiAir Hire itself, Isuzu Trucks, Nulon and NAPA.
The new look will make its competitive debut at this weekend's Repco Supercars Championship season opener in Sydney, while Xiberras will compete at the upcoming Westernationals at the Perth Motorplex.
Stanaway arrives from Penrite Racing, and will race a Triple Eight Race Engineering-built Chevrolet Supercar for the first time since he won the Bathurst 1000.
"Today marks an exciting new chapter for PremiAir Racing,” Xiberras said.
“Having our Supercars and Top Fuel programs share the same striking livery demonstrates our commitment to building a strong and unified racing organisation.
“With the support of our major partners, Nulon and Isuzu, we are proud to present a bold new look that fans can identify with across both championships.
“This bold design matches our bold outlook for the year ahead, so make sure you watch this space both in Supercars and Top Fuel."
The 2024 season saw Golding deliver PremiAir's first pole in Darwin, and first podium at Sandown.
“We couldn’t be more keen to start the new season,” Xiberras added.
“We learnt a lot last year and made a lot of in roads, and we haven’t left a stone unturned over the off-season with an incredible amount of work and preparation poured into every aspect of our program to make sure we are as ready to go this weekend as possible.
“The finishing touches on our prep will take place this Wednesday at our pre-season test, including Richie’s first laps with us.
“We are really looking forward to seeing him take the wheel of the #62 PremiAir Racing Camaro alongside our returning driver, Jimmy Golding in the #31. It will be a steep learning curve for Richie, but we know he is extremely ready, as is every single member of our team.
“Together, we are more than ready to get out there at Sydney Motorsport Park and do the absolute best we can to start the new season in the best possible way.”
The new-look PremiAir Camaros will roll out at the pre-season test day at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 19, and Thrifty Sydney 500 - Opening Round on February 21-23.
