Team 18 signs ex-BJR engineer for Anton De Pasquale
Andrew Donnelly previously engineered Macauley Jones
De Pasquale/Donnelly one of several new combos for 2025
Team 18 has continued to change up its ranks for 2025, with the team securing a new Race Engineer for star driver recruit Anton De Pasquale.
De Pasquale, who arrives from Dick Johnson Racing, will be overseen in 2025 by ex-Brad Jones Racing Race Engineer Andrew Donnelly.
Donnelly had departed for a new role elsewhere in the Supercars paddock at the end of 2024, with Team 18 confirming his arrival amid the team's De Pasquale livery reveal.
Most recently, Donnelly was Race Engineer on Macauley Jones' #96 Pizza Hut Camaro. Second-generation racer Jones will be engineered in 2025 by Paul Scalzo.
Donnelly takes the reins of the #18 DEWALT Chevrolet from Som Sharma, who engineered the now-retired Mark Winterbottom in the 2024 season.
The De Pasquale/Donnelly combination is one of several new driver/engineer pairings in 2025, amid a flurry of changes up and down the field.
Second-year Erebus Motorsport driver Ryan Wood will be led by former DJR engineer Richard Harris, while rookies Kai Allen (Penrite Racing) and Cooper Murray (Erebus Motorsport) will be engineered by Alistair McVean and Wayne Mackie respectively.
Tom Moore and George Commins have shifted from Erebus to DJR, and will engineer Will Davison and 2023 champion Brodie Kostecki.
Ex-DJR engineer Caleb Mutsaerts has joined Matt Stone Racing to oversee Cameron Hill, while Simon Hodge has stepped in for Romy Mayer, who is on maternity leave, to engineer James Golding.
Golding's new teammate Richie Stanaway, meanwhile, will be led by Andrew Gilliam or Ludo Lacroix, while former Kelly Racing engineer Daniel Veronese has joined Blanchard Racing Team to lead Aaron Love.
The new driver/engineer combinations will make their competitive debuts in Sydney on February 21-23.
