BJR reveals new Venom-inspired Bathurst look
Macauley Jones/Jordan Boys Pizza Hut car goes black
Livery celebrates new Venom: The Last Dance film
Brad Jones Racing has uncovered a new look for the Macauley Jones/Jordan Boys Pizza Hut Camaro, which will carry Venom-inspired colours for Bathurst.
The Jones/Boys car has traded its traditional white and red Pizza Hut look for a striking black livery, celebrating the release of from Sony Pictures’ Venom: The Last Dance, only in cinemas from October 24.
The Pizza Hut Chevrolet takes on the true Venom guise, with the light-to-dark scheme and the alien Symbiote appearing on the rear guard of the Supercar. The #96 Camaro also has Venom's face featured across the bonnet.
The livery comes in conjunction with Pizza Hut's Venom: The Last Dance Range, which includes pizza, wings, loaded garlic bread, and loaded Mac & Cheese.
Fans of Venom: The Last Dance also have a chance to win a trip to Las Vegas when they order any item from the film-inspired menu.
The new-look Pizza Hut car will hit the track at Mount Panorama for the first time on Thursday October 10.
Bathurst also doubles as a redemption opportunity for Jones/Boys following their involvement in an incident at Sandown, with Boys sent into the barriers.
“I am blown away by how amazing this car looks. The Venom: The Last Dance details look sick and the black-to-white down the car is such a cool effect,” driver Jones said.
“I remember Venom from when I was a kid playing video games and to have this epic Marvel character on a race car is something else. Pizza Hut and Sony Pictures have taken it to another level.
“Coming into Bathurst with a new livery is a good way to start what is always a special week. Jordan [Boys, co-driver] and I come here looking for a bit of a fresh start after Sandown.
"The car had pace and we could see the potential there. We’ll take that confidence to the Mountain and see what happens.”
Tickets for the Repco Bathurst 1000, set for October 10-13, are on sale now.
