Supercars and Superbikes will come together once again at next year’s Ipswich Super440, allowing fans to see the best in domestic two and four-wheel racing at Ipswich’s Queensland Raceway in August 2025.

The Repco Supercars Championship and mi-bike Motorcycle Insurance Australian Superbike Championship presented by Motul will both be in action at the event taking place August 8-10.

It will be the first time Supercars has raced at 'the Paperclip' since 2019, and will also see Supercars stars of the future in action, competing in the Dunlop Super2 Series.

The Porsche Paynter Dixon Carrera Cup Australia and Toyota GAZOO Racing Australia GR Cup series’ will also compete at the event, offering fans a wide range of motorsport action across the three days.

The 'two-by-four' crossover has been popular among fans, with the most recent meeting between Supercars and Superbikes taking place at the 2023 Darwin Triple Crown at Hidden Valley Raceway.

“We are thrilled to partner up with the ASBK Championship at the Ipswich Super440 in August 2025,” Supercars CEO Shane Howard said.

“Bringing our championships together has long been popular with fans of both series’, and to do so at a heartland circuit like Queensland Raceway will make for a fantastic spectacle and a must-see event for race fans of all kinds.

“We are eagerly looking forward to bringing Supercars back to Queensland Raceway and seeing Australasia’s best in two and four-wheel racing put on a brilliant show at the 2025 Ipswich Super440.”

Both categories will contest three races each across the August 8-10 weekend, which will also offer unique opportunities for drivers, riders, teams, and fans to cross paths.

Among the notable names set to race at next year’s Ipswich Super440 include cousins Josh and Cam Waters; Josh the four-time and reigning ASBK champion, and Cam the front-running Ford star in Supercars.

“I am delighted the ASBK Championship will be reuniting with the Repco Supercars Championship in 2025,” Motorcycling Australia CEO Peter Doyle added.

“The championships share so many common values, and seeing the country’s premier car and bike categories performing together on the same weekend is truly a sight to behold.

“This is a concept that we want to see continue well into the future, so thanks to the Supercars Championship and Queensland Raceway for helping to lock in the 2025 event."
