Who's winning the teammate head-to-heads in 2024?

Across the 11 teams, there are just two even qualifying head-to-heads, and one even race head-to-head

We're three rounds into the 2024 Repco Supercars Championship, meaning a quarter of the season has been run and won.

We've been to three vastly different circuits, and have raced in sunshine and rain. Through eight races, we've had four different race winners from three teams, five different pole-sitters from four teams, and nine drivers have stood on the podium.

Remarkably, across the 11 teams, there are just two even qualifying head-to-heads, and one even race head-to-head.

Some drivers have had the wood over their teammates, but DNFs have jumbled the points standings. However, Triple Eight leads both championships, with Will Brown doing the race double on Broc Feeney in New Zealand to open up a 71-point lead.

With the Bosch Power Tools Perth SuperSprint on the horizon, Supercars.com breaks down each team and where the battles are. Tickets for the Perth event are on sale now. International viewers can follow all the action on Superview.

Race head-to-heads don't include races where one or both drivers from the same team recorded a DNF or DNS.

Red Bull Ampol Racing

Qualifying head to head: Broc Feeney 5, Will Brown 3

Best qualifying result: 1st (Broc Feeney 2 poles, Will Brown 1 pole)

Race head to head: Will Brown 5, Broc Feeney 3

Best race result: 1st (Will Brown 3 wins, Broc Feeney 3 wins)

Broc Feeney and Will Brown have the same average grid position (4.0) after three rounds, but Brown has asserted himself in the team with strong race performances. Brown has finished in the top two in seven races, compared to Feeney's four. However, each race Feeney has finished ahead of Brown, Feeney has won.

Penrite Racing

Qualifying head to head: Matt Payne 7, Richie Stanaway 1

Best qualifying result: 1st (Matt Payne AGP Race 5 & Taupō Race 8)

Race head to head: Matt Payne 4, Richie Stanaway 3

Best race result: 3rd (Matt Payne, AGP Race 3 & AGP Race 4)

Richie Stanaway may lead Matt Payne in the standings, but the latter has so far had the running in qualifying and the races. Had Payne not crashed out of the lead twice in Melbourne, he would be a comfortable third in the championship. Stanaway, though, has made some spirited charges through the field, and is a force in race trim.

Erebus Motorsport

Qualifying head to head: Jack Le Brocq 4, Todd Hazelwood 2, Brodie Kostecki 2

Best qualifying result: 3rd (Brodie Kostecki, Taupō Race 8)

Race head to head: Jack Le Brocq 5, Todd Hazelwood 2, Brodie Kostecki 0

Best race result: 5th (Jack Le Brocq, AGP Race 5 & Taupō Race 7)

Through all the drama, Erebus Motorsport is back at the pointy end in the teams' standings, with Jack Le Brocq solid if not superb. Todd Hazelwood did a sterling job standing in for Brodie Kostecki, who showed glimpses of his raw speed in Taupō. If not for a DNF in Melbourne, Le Brocq would be fourth in the points.

Shell V-Power Racing Team

Qualifying head to head: Anton De Pasquale 7, Will Davison 1

Best qualifying result: 2nd (Anton De Pasquale, AGP Race 3)

Race head to head: Will Davison 4, Anton De Pasquale 2

Best race result: 2nd (Will Davison, Taupō Race 7)

After a troubled first two rounds, the Shell Fords powered to life in New Zealand. Anton De Pasquale copped a DNF and DNS in Melbourne, but has otherwise had Will Davison's measure in qualifying. Davison finished second in the Taupō opener, but fell away on Sunday, proving the team has work to do yet on consistency.

Walkinshaw Andretti United

Qualifying head to head: Chaz Mostert 7, Ryan Wood 1

Best qualifying result: 1st (Chaz Mostert, AGP Race 6)

Race head to head: Chaz Mostert 4, Ryan Wood 2

Best race result: 2nd (Chaz Mostert, Bathurst 500 Race 2)

Chaz Mostert has long been the spearhead at WAU, but Ryan Wood burst into life on home soil with finishes of fourth and 10th. Mostert is superior over one lap, and scored his first pole since 2021 at the Grand Prix. However, Wood is going from strength to strength, while Mostert seems to be getting ever closer to that elusive first WAU Ford win.

Team 18

Qualifying head to head: David Reynolds 5, Mark Winterbottom 3

Best qualifying result: 4th (Mark Winterbottom, AGP Race 4)

Race head to head: David Reynolds 4, Mark Winterbottom 4

Best race result: 2nd (Mark Winterbottom, AGP Race 4)

Recruit David Reynolds has been impressive, with Mark Winterbottom scoring the team's first podium of the year at the Grand Prix. However, a troubled Taupō round dropped the drivers down the order, and the team from third to sixth in the points.

Matt Stone Racing

Qualifying head to head: Nick Percat 4, Cameron Hill 4

Best qualifying result: 4th (Nick Percat, AGP Race 6)

Race head to head: Nick Percat 5, Cameron Hill 2

Best race result: 1st (Nick Percat, AGP Race 6)

MSR also flew out of the blocks, with Cameron Hill reaching Shootouts in Bathurst and New Zealand, and Nick Percat winning in Melbourne. Percat has asserted himself in the races, but Hill is improving round-by-round, particularly in qualifying, where the drivers are split.

Tickford Racing

Qualifying head to head: Cam Waters 5, Thomas Randle 3

Best qualifying result: 1st (Cam Waters, AGP Race 4 & Taupō Race 7)

Race head to head: Cam Waters 4, Thomas Randle 3

Best race result: 4th (Thomas Randle, Bathurst 500 Race 2 & AGP Race 6)

Cam Waters has two poles in two rounds since Melbourne, but Thomas Randle has two P4 finishes and is ahead on points after the Monster Ford driver's wheel misfortune at the Mountain, and DNF at Albert Park. Otherwise, both drivers would comfortably be inside the top 10 in the standings.

Brad Jones Racing

Qualifying head to head: Andre Heimgartner 4, Bryce Fullwood 4

Best qualifying result: 3rd (Andre Heimgartner, Taupō Race 7)

Race head to head: Andre Heimgartner 4, Bryce Fullwood 3, Jaxon Evans 1

Best race result: 1st (Andre Heimgartner, Taupō Race 7)

Bryce Fullwood started the year with a seventh in Bathurst, but Andre Heimgartner has since reasserted himself as BJR's leading light, headlined by his stunning Taupō win. Jaxon Evans scored his first top 10 on home soil and is improving week-by-week.

PremiAir Nulon Racing

Qualifying head to head: Tim Slade 5, James Golding 3

Best qualifying result: 4th (James Golding, Bathurst 500 Race 2 & Tim Slade, Taupō Race 7)

Race head to head: Tim Slade 5, James Golding 3

Best race result: 5th (James Golding, Bathurst 500 Race 2 & Taupō Race 8)

Tim Slade may lead the head-to-heads, but James Golding has brought home the big results so far and is 12 positions up the road in the standings. A Saturday start-line crash and Sunday fuel issue cost Slade dearly in New Zealand, while Golding has been held back by inconsistency over one lap.

Blanchard Racing Team

Qualifying head to head: James Courtney 6, Aaron Love 2

Best qualifying result: 11th (James Courtney, AGP Race 3)

Race head to head: James Courtney 4, Aaron Love 3

Best race result: 8th (James Courtney, AGP Race 3)

James Courtney scored the team's first top 10 of the year in Melbourne, while rookie Aaron Love has shown glimpses of the speed that earned him a full-time drive. Can Love's home round in Perth be the trigger for an upswing in form for BRT?
