The Repco Supercars Championship will be updating licensing requirements for drivers wishing to join the category for 2024.

The 2024 Operations Manual will contain an updated version of the licensing and entry requirements which ensure:

To participate in a 2024 Repco Supercars Championship practice session only:

Each Driver must hold a Motorsport Australia International Circuit Competition licence (minimum Grade C), or an international licence (minimum Grade C) issued by an ASN to participate in any practice Session.

To participate in any 2024 Repco Supercars Championship Session, except practice:

Each Driver must be a minimum of 17 years of age; and

Each Driver must hold a minimum of an FIA International Grade C licence; and

Each Driver must meet the Entry Criteria in accordance with Rule A5.2.

A Driver holding a licence other than a Motorsport Australia licence will be required to provide to Supercars an authorisation (VISA) issued by the ASN that issued their licence.

Each Competitor must hold a Motorsport Australia International Competitor licence.

Entry Requirements – 2024 Repco Supercars Championship

Each Driver must meet the requirements in accordance with A5.1.2 and at least one (1) of the following:

Have Competed in a minimum of three (3) Rounds of the Supercars Championship within the last 5 years or;

Have Competed in and received endorsement signatures from the Race Director at a minimum of six (6) Rounds of the Supercars Super2 Series within the last 3 years or;

The following criteria will be permitted to a maximum of three (3) Dunlop Super2 Rounds:

A Driver having Competed in and be one of the first three (3) of the final classification of that Supercars Australia Super3 Series in the last three (3) years, will be credited with three (3) DS2 Rounds towards the six (6) DS2 Rounds as required by Rule A5.2.1.2.

ii. A Driver having Competed in and be one of the first three (3) of the final classification of the Porsche Carrera Cup Australia Series in the last three (3) years, will be credited with three (3) DS2 Rounds towards the six (6) DS2 Rounds as required by Rule A5.2.1.2.

Under exceptional circumstances, in its sole discretion, Supercars may approve the entry of a driver based on his/her international or historic Supercars racing achievements.
